I Made Her Because I Love Her.

I made her... She is different. She is unique.

With love I formed her in her mother's womb.

I fashioned her with great joy.

I remember with great pleasure the day I created her.

I love her smile. I love her ways. I love to hear her laugh

and the silly things she says and does.

She brings me great pleasure. This is how I made her.

I made her pretty and not beautiful.

I wanted her to search out her heart and learn that

it would be Me in her that would make her beautiful...

and it would Me that would draw other to her.

I made her in such a way that she would need me.

I made her a little more lonesome than she would like to be...

Only because I need for her to learn and depend on Me.

I know her heart. I know that if I had not made her like this,

she would go her own chosen way.

and forget Me... her Creator.

Because I love her, I have seen her broken heart...

and the tears she cried alone.

I have cried with her and had a broken heart too.

Many time she has stumbled and fallen alone...

only because she would not hold my hand.

So many lessons she's learned the hard way

because she would not listen to My voice.

So many times I have sat back and sadly

watched her go her merry way alone...

Only to watch her return to my arms,

sad and broken.

And now she is Mine again.

I made her, and I bought her...

Because I love her.

I have to reshape her and remold her

to renew her to what I planned her to be.

It has not been easy for her or for Me.

I want her to be comforted to My image.

This high goal I have set for her...

Because I love her.

God has made you an heir!!! Week 1 of discovery!

This week God set me out on a new journey, He told me to go out and get a notebook and title it "Who Am I?" I knew the first step of finding out who I am in Christ and how the Lord views me, I would first have to be real with myself and write about how I view myself. So after taking a walk down memory lane, and writing everything I could think of from when I was little till now, I laid my views aside and started searching for God's view. The Lord led me to Joshua 2, and the story of Rahab the prostitute, or as I like to call her now Rahab a woman of faith. The Lord could of spared anyone from Jericho, but because of Rahab's faith He spared her and her family, and as we find out later in Matthew she was apart of Jesus' family tree. When Joshua sent out 2 spies to Jericho, Rahab hid these two men in house, and sent government officials in a completely different direction to save the spies' lives. All the people of Jericho had heard of the things that Lord had done and were living in complete fear for their lives, because they knew their city was given to the Israelites. Rahab instead of ending with fear at the end of verse 11 to 13, she stepped out in faith and made the men swear that God would spear her family when it was time for God to give the Israelites Jericho, and the men did. Since Rahabs house was on the wall of Jericho, the men escaped through a window on a red rope, and the men told her to leave it up for when they would return, to take the city, and she did. Now I am sure that the wall guards the next morning could see the red rope that was just hanging there, and it could of gotten her in a lot of trouble, but she didn't care, she left it there anyways. And so later on we find out that the Lord indeed did save her and her family.

The story of Rahab, really made me realize the Lord, will use anybody for His glory no matter your past no matter what you've done or are doing. Like 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 says that God choose you! Wow the God of the universe chose me to save me from a life of separation from the father... But non of this really blew my mind until randomly this morning I was led to read Galatians 3, and I got verse 26 where Paul talks about being sons of God. And skipping down to chapter 4 verse 6, where it says "Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into out hearts, the Spirit who calls out "Abba Father." So you are no longer a slave, but a son and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir." As soon as I finish reading that verse, I heard the Lord telling me you are my daughter, you are no longer a slave to your sin but I have made you an heir. I've always known this truth that I am a chosen daughter of God, but I can't say that I believed it in my heart, until now. I am a daughter of the most high God, I'm no longer a slave to my sin, and neither are you! This week was such an amazing start to my journey of finding who I am in Christ, I just had to share it!

DAISY!

On May 16th, 2009 I got a little Chinese Crescent Puppy. Chinese Crescent is named as one of the ugliest breed in the world, but in Daisy's defense and mine too, she is one the cutest little puppies I have ever seen. She is brown and black with white accents, on the tip of her tail, pows, front and her head. When we 1st got her she was 3 lbs now 4 weeks later she is 4 lbs. I never thought that a puppy can cause somebody so much joy, she is the love of my life and I can't imagine life without her. From her waking me up EVERY morning between 7 and 7:30, to eating watermelon with me (she loves her fruits), to eating my flip flops that were kinda expensive, oh well she's cute ;), she always puts a smile on my face :) even when she poops in the house (working on that one).

New Obsession

Summer is almost here, and I am so excited, I can hardly wait. I found my new obsession, SUNDRESSES! They are light weight, flirty, fun, and come in a bunch of different colors, styles and patterns. For all you girls that don't like short dresses they make some great long ones, not my personal fave, but they still look fabulous!

My Mommy

With Mother's Day just days away, I thought I would write a blog about my mommy.

If I could describe my mommy in one word it would "amazing!" She is only 39 years old and has accomplished SO much she has two very successful businesses, she keeps a household of two kids ages 19 and 4 and one husband, and she also is the Children's Director at her church.

I am so blown away by my mom, and that she puts everybody 1st before herself! I love her very much.

Moms are SO amazing so make sure you give your mom a huge hug and kiss this coming Sunday!

My New Discovery

I have not let my hair air dry for several years now I have always washed it every morning then blow-dried it. About a week ago I decided to take a shower at night and just let my hair air dry over night, and the next day I woke up to a very unusual surprise my hair was CURLY!

Since, I was little my hair has always been pin straight and I thought it would be for the rest of my life, but that is not the case anymore. Every time I look in the mirror I start cracking up and I still can't believe it, at times I think I'm dreaming and that I am about to wake up anytime now, but it's real. Wow, it's really hard to process. The hard part is I have NO CLUE how to manage it and style it. I bought some curl gel and some anti-frizz spray and I use that every morning. I am actually really excited to go to my hair dresser to see her reaction.

I blame all of this on my Grandma and Uncle from my dad's side because they both have curly hair! But I'm not going to lie I actually REALLY like it! And NO I am NOT making this up!

Another addiction.

Ok, I don't really think that I actually needed a blog, but hey another thing to get addicted to and waist time while I'm in class, bored. I like to think that my life is pretty interesting and when people are around me they are always laughing because either I did or said something or something interesting happened to me.

Well I hope you all enjoy!
